The NVL and the US Open of Grass Volleyball (Waupaca Boatride) is proud to announce their partnership for 2012. This collaborative event will take place July 11-15, 2012 in Oshkosh, WI. The tournament will have teams competing from over 38 states on 220 volleyball nets, and boasts over 1200 camps sites. The NVL will bring the professional beach tour stop to the event that is next to Rock USA that features music, camping, and entertainment.
“The Waupaca Boatride is extremely proud to be joining forces with the NVL this summer in what will be another record-breaking year for the world’s largest outdoor volleyball tournament. Partnering with the premier domestic beach volleyball tour was always a goal of the event and will provide another great element to the tournament. In addition to a great volleyball experience, there will be music and camping throughout the weekend. Rock USA, a three-day music festival, will be set-up adjacent to the volleyball event and lead up to a highly anticipated performance by Kid Rock.

The Waupaca Boatride volleyball tournament, founded in 1984, is located in Oshkosh, WI. The site consists of 12,000 campsite, 200 grass volleyball courts and sand courts on site (new this year). The Waupaca Boatride started as a grass doubles tournament consisting of 170 players and has now grown into the Worlds Largest Grass Volleyball Championship consisting of 10,383 players.
